Dobre knjige - A Reliable Source for Good Literature
Dobre knjige is a free Android application developed by Qualitas under the Education & Reference category. The app is a joint effort of all Slovenian public libraries to provide reliable, unbiased, and up-to-date information on good literature. It is a platform where readers can find suggestions for good books based on their preferences.
Dobre knjige aims to bring contemporary literature to the forefront of its selection process. It is a welcome change from the market-driven approach of other book recommendation apps that often overlook quality literature in favor of profit. The project is a collaboration between the Central Library of Srečko Vilhar Koper and the Goriška Library France Bevk Nova Gorica. It has now become a national project of great significance, with other Slovenian public libraries joining in. The project is also supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia.
